Sights & Signs

I’ve taken multiple epic road trips across and around America, and I’m always thinking about the next one. One of the things I’ve always loved along the way is the unique signs and roadside attractions. From vintage motel signs and glowing neon to huge roadside landmarks and signs for places you might otherwise drive straight past, they’re such a distinctive part of travelling through America.

For my collection, ‘American Moments: Signs & Sights’, I’ve been inspired to turn some of the signs and sights that have caught my eye into paintings. Some are iconic, some are kitsch, some I’ve seen in person and others are still on my list to see for myself one day.

Painted in acrylic in my colourful style, ‘American Moments: Signs & Sights’ is an ongoing collection inspired by my road trips, my love of Americana and all those memorable things found along the way.
